 A Center for Skill Enhancement

PAIDMI is a specialized institution dedicated to advancing professional skills, knowledge, and lifelong learning. With a particular focus on graduates of apprenticeship programs, we offer training rooted in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to bridge the gap between vocational education and higher-level competencies.

As a comprehensive development and management institution, PAIDMI also provides training opportunities for professionals in various fields, including healthcare. Our curriculum will explore the potential of alternative medicine and its integration with conventional practices among others.

PAIDMI is designed to train ethical workforce, backed by morals, values and to provide a pathway for graduates of apprenticeship training programs, to acquire formal training and qualifications to back their skillsets as well as obtain universally recognized professional accreditations or certifications.

It is a hybrid training model designed to provide physical and digital learning opportunities, to address the critical skill gap in developing relevant workforce for industrial, commercial and developmental purposes. This is with the aid of online learning i.e. transitioning from analogue to digital learning system.

Target trainees among others include apprenticeship graduates in building, carpentry, welding, driving, tailoring, carers and artisans, hustlers, petit traders as well as civil society actors for community and cultural development.

This holistic and innovative competence-based approach prepare learners for success in the modern industrial, commercial and development landscape.

The academy offers four levels of training – foundation, lower intermediary, upper intermediary, and advanced. This is to cater for learners needs at different stages of their career development, as well as short courses tailored to meet special needs.

PAIDMI therefore is a transformative initiative designed to address the critical skill gap hindering Africa’s industrialization and development efforts by enhancing the quality of the current and future workforce, equipping them with the theoretical technical expertise and knowledge base to drive industrialization and development across Cameroon and beyond.
